Neither Pence nor Kushner are, or were doctors so I would assume they relied on DR. Birx’s expertise to guide them.

Yes, very true. That's probably the same reason Birx refused to let Dr. Scott Atlas participate in any of her meetings. She didn't want Pence or Kushner to hear his opinions. As I recall, he was pretty based.
