Prior to 2020, the 1876 presidential election was the most fraudulent in American political history. Anyone not familiar with this pivotal time in US History, would do well to research the subject, especially given the echoing of what occurred in 2020. The short story is this: through quasi-legal and illegal actions, Democrats successfully stole many state elections in the former Rebel states, and came very close to stealing the presidential election. Fraud, voter intimidation and suppression (against the Republican supporting blacks in the former slave states), and even blatant tampering (such as the Dem governor of Oregon illegally replacing a Republican Elector with a Democrat), was widespread and regularly identified. "LarGeSt VoteR TuRnoUt in HiStoRy!"

When it became obvious that LA, SC and FL were the last chance to prevent the outright theft (since Dems succeeded in the other Rebel states), President US Grant did what POTUS was tasked by the Constitution with doing: ENFORCING THE LAW and protecting elections from fraud and tampering. On Nov 10th, he ordered generals Sherman and Sheridan to send troops to these state capitals (legislatures and governors were still Republican controlled) with instructions to "be vigilant with the force as their Command to preserve peace & good order and to see that the proper & legal boards of Canvassers are unmolested in the performance of their duties" and to ensure that a "peaceful count of the ballots actually cast."

The duty of the military was not to "influence", let alone "steal" the election for the Republican Hayes, but rather to provide a defense against the Democrat forces attempting to steal the election by threatening the lawful Republican-led state governments from doing their jobs and certifying the LEGAL results.

"The Military have nothing to do with counting the vote [...] Its province is to keep the peace and to protect the legal Canvassing board in the performance of its duties."

In November of 1876, POTUS Grant saved the Republic... at least for a little while longer. How? By using the military, LEGALLY, and constitutionally, to suppress another attempted insurrection and rebellion by slaver, KKK, Democrat shitheads.

So what of the relevance to 2020 and the present? Why didn't POTUS Trump do the same thing? Some theorize that he did, and the military involved was part of this grand sting plan to record and protect the TRUE vote numbers. And yet here we are, nearly 2 years later, with an unlawful Resident still sitting in the White House, on top of numerous federal and state representatives and officials illegally holding office, the result of no OBVIOUS effort to truly stop the steal.

Don't mistake these comments as dooming. It's certainly possible that "the sting" operation actually took place. It's certainly possible that there's "somebody" or "some group" behind the scenes that caught the entire theft, and is trying to undo it. But the point here is, that in 1876 Grant (plus Congress and 5 Republican Supreme Court Justices) didn't ALLOW the steal to occur. Their strategy of constitutionally using military force to prevent the steal, was successful. It's true that the ramifications led to the end of Reconstruction, and the complete takeover of the former Rebel states by the Rebel Democrat KKK shits for decades, essentially restoring legalized slavery. But at least on the national level, the presidential election of the true winner, Rutherford B. Hayes was secured. What happened after that cannot be blamed on Grant, but on spineless Republicans who didn't do very much good with the power they retained.

Again, perhaps Trump (and others) had/have a grander plan that's yet to be fully revealed re:2020 theft. Had I been president, I'd have followed the examples of Grant and Lincoln. Treason, rebellion and insurrection must be met with SWIFT justice. The longer such enemies of the United States of America are permitted to get away with their crimes, the more lasting the damage.
