I think a whole race of Americans ought to be kissing the ground our REPUBLICAN forefathers walked upon. Without the REPUBLICANS freeing the slaves, an entire race of Americans would still be in servitude to the DEMOCRATS. Oh, wait, they still are, especially in blue states.
