I am convinced we are partially in this mess because we didn’t speak up and push back when the stakes were low. So we must combat the lies and “history” that paint the USA in a horrible light exclusively. This isn’t a PR exercise though, we must push out truth in all things, even when we (The USA) were Wrong and evil.
Important to that truth telling though is context.
Ultimately people have been both very evil AND very good throughout history, and most have been a mixed bag. We learn in order to attain wisdom, which hopefully leads to more good than evil.

This is also a reaction video—these reaction videos have been getting huge numbers of eyeballs, and I think it is a fantastic trend, especially when it’s about spreading knowledge, which includes context of the time.
