I don't feel like people didn't ignore them.

People around me were freaked out about all of these things.

I went to another country on the other side of the world, and had the same experience.

Covid though, I still don't understand how people reacted in such a way. They were always buying into the fear porn, but not enough to take such drastic action.

I would really like to know what they did that made it so different this time.
