I'm going to say it and I don't give a fuck; we need to stop shopping online at the rate we are. Unless you really have to, please stop. I think the reason why shipping companies are so disconcerned right now is because we are doing so much (what I would consider unnecessary) business online and there are not nearly enough people employed to handle the volume. I know one could say "aha let the market sort it out", but isn't that just passing the problem off instead of helping resolve the actual issue? Look past the politics of things and understand that indeed, we sort of created this problem. Online shopping has made people apathetic and dependent, not to mention the utter destruction it does to startups and small business.
Now particular to guns and ammo, I know it's getting a little more restrictive to find things, and that's it's own issue (that shouldn't be existing). But I think it's smarter to make smaller purchases
in greater frequency so you don't run such a big risk of losing your order. Yeah, you might not get the deal you want, but at least you may be more likely to get your order. I know the postal service has their hand in it too, and I acknowledge that
