Why would republicans vote to abolish the insulin price cap? The people we hate so much want to cap the insulin price and on the surface this looks great. Why is it not so great, and why did we vote to and are abolishing the cap? Please be easy im truly curious why we cant cap insulin, everything says we should.

This makes the most sense. And it's how it should work but there seems to be something stuck in the cogs of this wheel. Are only so many people allowed to make it still because of a patent? Or are they colluding to keep the price up? I just don't understand how a republican would vote to continue to hurt people that need the discount. At thos point every rx company that makes insulin has to be bazzillionaires so they should be able to chill. But people actually die because they can't afford insulin. How are repubs okay with this? It's like a bylaw to be conservative and I seriously don't get it
