Myocarditis is not always a death sentence. It depends on how severe the inflammation is and how long it lasts.

Having said that, the mother is just as responsible as the doctor for whatever happens to her son.

Not always an immediate one, but it'll increase your risk of complications for basically everything you do in the future and possibly blow out your heart sooner.
