Yep - if you try to recycle appliances, you don’t get crap for them. Very very little for an entire truckload you’ll be lucky if you even get 20 bucks. I tried it once in Arizona and it wasn’t worth it.

Also, if there's an influx of metal, the price goes down so it makes recycling even more not worth it.
