Maybe it's just me but the DS muppets have been oddly silent about this. CNN did a piece the other day and they seemed a little anxious this wasn't gonna work. My thoughts are 1 of 2 things happened. 1. Like you said, it was a white hat op to rally the people against the gubmint. Or 2. The DS jumped the gun and they're in a real pickle now. They dug a grave so deep they don't know how they're gonna climb out now. Just my thoughts on the matter. We'll have to see how this plays out

There are surveillance cameras all over MAL. When the “g-men” asked Trump’s security personnel and lawyers to turn off the security system, they refused. I think I may be a little difficult to try and plant evidence when you are under surveillance.
That’s not how it works. When a search warrant is executed, they have to photograph the evidence they take in its original position where they found it. Putting it in the boxes while driving back to their FBI office won’t fly.
