There's SO much more likely to be wrong elsewhere:

Linux (I like it, but it's got issues, too)
Brave (on Linux)
Age of hardware
Other infections/spyware/malware on your machine

If this site - in particular - had any serious issues like this there would be 100+ people hollering about it...
