I don't know. Are we sure he has the warrant in hand? They arrived when he wasn't there and left before he got home.
Do you think they left him a copy? Maybe they did, but what if what was on it was made up bullsh_t that the uninformed will assume is true? Why should he release it if that is the case?
According to the WaPo: "The affidavit supporting the warrant is probably sealed, former prosecutors say, and Attorney General Merrick Garland can seek to unseal it." FBI, the Justice Department and the judiciary all have copies.
“No, we’re not releasing a copy of the warrant,” NBC News quoted a source close to Trump as saying. His attorney [and spokesperson] Christina Bobb did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation from The Post.
"A source close to Trump" - an unnamed source! But not his spokesperson or attorney?
Right. All these anonymous sources that are never revealed because they don't exist. And the link that is included further clarifies it with this:
"~A source close to Trump suggested last night to me that the burden of transparency rests with the DOJ to lay out its reasoning for the search warrant."
Who is the source? "Suggested" does not mean it happened.
"Agents initially resisted showing Trump spokeswoman Christina Bobb the warrant but ultimately did. But the agents would not allow any representatives of the former president to oversee the search, Bobb said. The justification for the search also remains under seal. Trump’s legal team plans on asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to unseal the search warrant affidavit, which would outline why authorities asked for the warrant."
Another handshake account.

Why don't you ask them to release it?

Good Lord. Be more discerning, will you?
