I'd love your sources on that Vatican sounding conspiracy. Rome chose to change the creed and oppose an Ecumenical Council decision. Rome can return if they return to proper doctrine and denounce papal infallacy.
As the Aritcle states, the first ecumenical council wrote a significant portion of the Nicene Creed. Which Rome chose to change. And that justification was connected to prior attempts to cause schisms, laying in Arias.
Arias was killed by the catholic church and the pope continued.
What is your understanding of the point of Aria/Arianism that is said to cause said schism?
This should be the point of discussion.
Literally Rome left the Church in 1054 by changing their Nicene Creed to de-divinize Christ. De-divinization of Christ was the foundation of Arianism.
Rome left the church by 1054.
Interesting
The Christ as man, and also as God, this was seen as error by Arias.
In his view, that was blasphemy and a misreading of the Christ.
The word is anthropromorphism.
