What's scary is it's a dog whistle to all the crazies or FBI FF to actually attempt it. Government people and the media have not been openly suggesting this option as viable before this that I recall. (I know about Madonna and Depp, etc. actors are nuts anyway and want the attention.) I had read that FBI is going to infiltrate his rallies now. Is this their last card in the deck? I mean if a secret service agent was the rat who wanted the search at Mar-a-lago, is Trump really being protected enough at this point?

There was a recent article about a Democrat staffer impersonating FBI at a 2020 Trump rally.

Sterling Devion Carter, a 24-year-old staffer for Illinois Democrat Rep. Brad Schneider, impersonated an FBI agent during a rally held by President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 14, 2020.

He successfully passed himself off as an agent for some time before Secret Service confronted him and he fled the scene. He was later tracked down and charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer, court documents show.

But the Democrat staffer never served a day in jail for that offense. In fact, federal prosecutors dropped the impersonation charge.

He got sentenced to 9 months in prison for a separate charge, giving himself an $80k raise without permission.
