Well as far as I can tell its doing something, think about all the hyped up and historionic comms about it on interviews and social media... keeping a population in sustained and unresolvable outrage (another form of slavery if you really think about it) which results in another cycle of mass demoralization. As elections come around again and for the remaining folks expecting a different result this time . . .
