Everyone in south Africa has taken the other medications that actually prevent covid so testing there was stupid to begin with. My friend got sick while doing a mission trip as a teenager in Africa and has yet to catch covid to this day (an adult now) while her nonvaxed husband and a mix of vaxxed and nonvaxxed coworkers have all had it. She takes zero precautions but can't catch it. I really feel like the meds she got over there has given her a rock solid immune system.
