I wish the car I was driving a few years ago had had that lane assist feature, because I fell asleep (about 4 in the afternoon!) and hit a guardrail, totalling the car. I was in the right lane of an interstate in Maine, and crossed over the center line, and on to a guardrail to the left. Fortunate that I hit a guardrail, because it could have been rocks, or a drop off, resulting in a rollover. Unfortunately, all the airbags went off, which is why it was totalled, otherwise, it would have just been a slightly crushed front left side; I was able to continue driving to our destination, which was only a few miles away! Lesson learned: never discount a quick nod-off, that's the warning that you are in danger of falling asleep!
