Yes, exactly. I have some info I saved a while back on that subject.
Here's what I found: The device was originally designed for commercial aircraft after a spate of hijackings that took place in the 1980s. The chip allowed ground control to remotely take over the plane in a way even the pilots (or hijackers) couldn't override.
Then, they added them to the automobiles.
The sensor, originally named: BEI GYROCHIP Model QRS11, was invented in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
The inventor was represented by The Clinton’s law firm.
Since the 1990’s, these microchips or a version of them have been installed in the navigational system of nearly ALL commercial aircraft, HELICOPTERS and automobiles.
The automobile version, usually referred to as StabiliTRAK, can compare actual vehicle dynamics to the driver's intentions, and then gently apply the ABS and traction-control systems to "nudge" the car back into the expected line.
Sounds great at first glance. But not if the wrong people have access to it...
I remember an article about a journalist who was investigating a big story. He wanted to borrow a neighbor's car because he was afraid they'd kill him for what he knew. The neighbor said no. The journalist went ahead and took his own car and they found him dead, having hit a tree head on.
Any gadget that takes control away from us somewhat scares me.
That's great! Thanks. I was just going from memory from years ago. I think she worked with Ingersoll on the chip. Does that sound right?

Wow. That's great stuff. Thank you!
