I really thought we as a society had grown beyond the execution crowd mentality. In the movies when a medieval times executioner was about to chop someone's head off. I'd look at the crowd and think, these people don't know this person. They're just going along with the local sheriff or magistrate or king and believing what they are told. They just want to see someone die. I really thought we had evolved beyond this, but no we haven't. Like in the Matrix when Neo learns that anyone can possibly be an agent if you go against the normal routine of things. We as patriots are going against the programing and drawing the attention of agents in our lives.
