hostile juries;
dropping revenues;
reluctant insurance companies (they pay ultimately);
adverse trends as the real science comes out;
building number of precedents of large awards;
expensive lawyers (& lots of now dead lawyers);
provable collusion with govt & the Mother WEFfers;
more....

so, they will cave rather than fight at this stage as even the DUMB lawyers know they cannot win.
