No it doesn't. Article II states: βThe electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for two persons, of whom one at least shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves.β It is talking about the elector and the person they vote for.
Ok⦠so in practice, if both P and VP are from Florida, then no Florida electors can vote for that slate of candidates?
