I follow an astronomer named Ben Davidson who runs a site called Suspicious Observers. He frequently comments that on days where there is increased solar radiation (caused by events such as solar flares) there is an increase in health problems, including heart attacks and psychological issues. In this short video, he goes into detail about the psychological issues that can be caused and how to mitigate the effects on your own body:

electro-magnetic which is pretty much what cosmic & solar radiation is
have been many studies examining electro-magnetic waves and the impact on the brain, behaviour & biology.
suspicious0bservers have repeatedly claimed and shown evidence that earth's magnetic field is weakening and solar flares from the sun have on occasion become more potent. also overall solar activity will slow down in the future (their prediction) which means global cooling and not global warming.
anyway, weak earth magnetic field and random strong solar radiation can break through and do some work on our brains. unfortunately i haven't read much science on this.
