And this is why I prefer Smith and Wesson for self defense/EDC over Glocks or any other manufacturer. Not only are they based, but you also don't have to spend another $500 upgrading everything that should have been fixed from the factory years ago.
Plus you know, Made in 'Murica instead of imported through Georgia.
Sig Sauer right up there with them
Eh, I like Sig, I do (Especially the MPX and MXC series), but they're still German in origin. Nothing quite like being Made in America. Not anything against them, they're freaking good guns (though I usually refrain from being the first to buy their new models since they ALWAYS have a few kinks in new stuff), but I tend to stick to Smith and Wesson and Ruger for most of my modern firearms (non lever action, non break action, etc.).
Sure, there's better options, but for the price point, its REALLY hard to beat them, and their customer service/warranty's are freaking amazing when compared to anyone else in the industry at that price point and product level.
Valid points. Not a fan of sigs price points especially on their new stuff or anything other than pistols, really. Hope to one day own an MPX, that thing is nothing but sexy.
That M&P M2.0 Performance Center is smooth as butter. Throw on an Apex Trigger & Trijicon SRO and wheewwieeee....
Talk about smooth, I checked out a friend of a friends Staccato P today. That slide is awesome, could work it with my pinky and thumb. Crisp, nice trigger. Out of my price range for a handgun though.
Amen to THIS!π u/cathole953
