Romans 12: 17-21

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Us men are unable to properly administer vengeance, for it rarely corrects behavior, and it frequently brings forth further violence. With our imperfections, it is not our burden to cast vengeance onto those who wrong us, for only the Lord knows how, when, and what degree this karma shall be enacted upon those who've gravely sinned.

I admit I've struggled with this for the longest time. But since I came upon this passage it really shined a light. As much as many of us want to go forth and lynch each of these corrupt people who've ruined our livelihoods and the lives of children especially, we should not let it obstruct our faith in the Lord to make it all right.

Bible in one hand, popcorn in the other. As the white hats work deeply with the Lord, there's no reason for us to even get involved other than voting and meming.

I'm cool with that. Let diety have their avengement, vengeance, and revenge. But what about us puny mortals? What do we get?

We get justice. In court or in the shadows.

God sorts it all out anyway I'm told. Wrong side of heaven, righteous side of hell and all that.

Or something. Yeah. Don't listen to me. Night job is slow atm. No action, no distraction, but no satisfaction. On the bright side, everyone is happy and healthy, and a couple of the crew are making some kind of concoction down in the chemlab. It just better not be 'schedule 1' again or the boss is gonna kill 'em both. Lol. Smells good too.
