...because that person now fears for his or her life. If I don't believe in God, for example, then I don't believe in an afterlife. So, I DON'T want to die. No one wants to be a martyr if they don't believe in heaven.
I was thinking about this concept because of the Indiana Congresswoman and Heche... what if their murders were to send a message: See how easy it is to take you out if you try to unveil the truth?
Again... if I don't believe in God, I fear death.
Just a big picture thought after the fine Manhattan I've been sipping.
I’m an atheist. This doesn’t describe me at all.
Fear of death is just that, fear. Fear is an irrational belief. If you believe something because you are fearful, what does that say about the validity of the belief?
What, if anything, does this have to do with Q? Seriously. Are you here to drive a wedge between atheists and those that believe in God?
Basically, why are you doing the work of evil? They want so much to divide us.
Not sure how you got to all that based on my post, but I wish you well.
Well said.
What is evil?
