...because that person now fears for his or her life. If I don't believe in God, for example, then I don't believe in an afterlife. So, I DON'T want to die. No one wants to be a martyr if they don't believe in heaven.
I was thinking about this concept because of the Indiana Congresswoman and Heche... what if their murders were to send a message: See how easy it is to take you out if you try to unveil the truth?
Again... if I don't believe in God, I fear death.
Just a big picture thought after the fine Manhattan I've been sipping.
There it is, girls and boys! Belief in and relationship with The Only Living God (in Christ Jesus) is the most anti-cabal, "insurrectionist" viewpoint/behavior available to humanity. Would this make a Christian a 'pacifist'? By no means.
Hatred/fear are FORBIDDEN to worshipers of the ONE ETERNAL/THREE-IN-ONE. (Love and worship the The Father and the Son, get the Holy Spirit for FREE!!) :)
LOVE is commanded for those who love the Only God. ACTS of love are encouraged. "Love your enemies" is one of the more famous Bible quotes. The old hymn says 'rescue the perishing; care for the dying' (acts of mercy), care for widows & orphans, and on and on and on.
Yes, Christianity has some bad stains on its past, because of corrupted people. HOWEVER, we never would have lasted as a civilization - even to this point - without the redeeming Presence of The Holy Spirit (as manifested in the acts of mercy and sharing by THOUSANDS of Christians).
You want "insurrection"? LOL! PRAY THE ROSARY! Then go and Love as Christ our Lord has loved us! The devil and the cabal cannot STAND it when Christians get busy, FEARLESSLY freeing the slaves and protecting the children. As Q might say, "It'll be BIBLICAL"! MAY GOD BE PRAISED!
