Is truth our mistress or our master ?

Does she seduce us onto stepping forward with the promises of enlightenment and fulfillment ?

Or does he demanded duty be honored to satisfy obligations and commitment ?

Is ignorance a deterrent enough to motivate the unknowing when the jeopardy in and of itself is cloaked behind the unknown ?

How is it we draw deep from the nectar truth, while some have managed a lifetime with nary a taste?

Why is it to some sweet as honey, and others, bitter as the sulfur fires from hell ?
