My belief is this has everything to do with Turdoo putting the same restrictions on nitrogern fertilizer as The Netherlands. Last week I had heard that the Saskatchewan Gov't basically told Turdoo that they weren't going to restrict nitrogen, as it is essential for farming, which is a huge part of our economy. As far as I know, Sk is the only province, so far, to push back. IMO, the feds are taking these water samples to doctor test results, saying that the watershed is contaminated with nitrogen, in order to shut down farming in our province and across the country.
