Edit: I'm not saying the vaccine is the mark of the beast, I'm saying that if they blindly took a deadly poison they could just as easily of taken the mark of the beast.
What's been playing on my mind is the mark of the beast that will send you to everlasting torment Rev 14:9-11
What COVID proved was that the vast majority of people will condemn themselves to a tormentous eternity for a free donut.
They won't need to be violently coerced into taking it but simply told that having all your banking details on your hand or head is a great convenience.
If they die from the effects of the vaccine then they can't be stupid enough to condemn themselves in the tribulation. Their stupidity is mind-blowing to me.
If we are coming into the tribulation there might be a silver lining that the mindless sheep have poisoned themselves to death. I pray about this each day that God has a plan to lead people to Jesus.
Also thank God that heaven is a perfect theocratic monarchy with God, Jesus and the Saints. I couldn't imagine anything worse than all these room temperature IQ's ruling over us by democracy.
I have noone else to talk to about this, either they trust the Gov. Or don't believe God's word. Hopefully someone can give some consolation to this fear I have.
If you believe in reincarnation, you don't have any reason to believe in Revelation, I suppose.
The 2 aren't mutually exclusive.
What if Jesus came to set us free from more than just the current situation, but also to "reveal" the hidden truths, one of which may be that you have possibly been here more than once.
Revelation is a great revealing as well as judgement. I believe in Jesus, but I also believe in reincarnation. I feel that things have been misunderstood in a few ways regarding the Bible and our history.
Are you suggesting God doesn't have the ability to preserve His Word from being corrupted by man?
The Bible is very clear on this matter. I will provide more than two witnesses proving reincarnation is not part of the Word of God.
Job 14:10-12
10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.
Man dies once and is not risen until the heavens be no more.
Ecclesiastes 12:7
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
It's the breath of God that gives us our life, and once we die, the spirit goes back to Him. We will not be awakened again until the last day.
Hebrews 9:27-28
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
It's pretty clear death is a one time event from this verse.
John 5:28-29
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
If reincarnation is a thing, what's the point of believing in the power of the resurrection?
You say you believe in Jesus, but it's not the Jesus found in the Bible. Again, if you believe the Bible was corrupted by man, that's your choice and would explain your statements.
^ physical man dies the physical death, while your spirit is immortal. This soul is God given, and does not die, hence the "and where is he?" This passage is describing the mortal nature of man and being born in sin, bound by natural cycles of death and (re) birth.
To quote the same book but earlier verses
Verses 7-9 7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
^hmmmmm. Like a new bud on an old tree eh? Seasons? Let's look past your cherry picking a little more:
Verses 13-15 13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
How can you answer the call of the lords work if you're dead? You cannot.
I will try to address each point as I get time today. :)
In response to Job 14:10-12, you wrote the following-
"physical man dies the physical death, while your spirit is immortal. This soul is God given, and does not die, hence the "and where is he?" This passage is describing the mortal nature of man and being born in sin, bound by natural cycles of death and (re) birth."
Nowhere in the Bible does it talk about rebirth. It says our spirit comes from God and it returns to God upon our deaths.
You then claimed I was cherrypicking Job because I didn't quote the entire chapter and referenced verses 7-9.
Job 14:7-9
7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
So there is hope that a tree can regrow if it's cut down. In contrast, you didn't quote the correct verse this was a comparison to.
Job 14:1-2
1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.
2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
Unlike the tree, once the man is cut down, he's dead and there's no chance of regrowth. And I already quoted verses 10-12 which establish men are asleep once the spirit of God leaves them AKA they give up the ghost until the heavens are destroyed at the second coming.
You then proceeded to quote verses 13-15.
Job 14:13-15
13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
You then asked, "How can you answer the call of the lords work if you're dead? You cannot."
What is the change Job is referring to?
The apostle Paul describes what will happen after the heavens are destroyed at the second coming of Christ.
When reading the following verses, keep in mind "sleep" equals "death" and is a temporary state of affairs.
1 Corinthians 15:50-57
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
So in verse 51, this means some of those who are alive at the second coming of Christ will never die but will be immediately changed. Their physical bodies will be transformed into heavenly bodies.
And to answer your question ""How can you answer the call of the lords work if you're dead?"
1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
It's the voice of the Messiah which will wake all dead men up from their earthly slumber, at least those who are part of the first resurrection.
After 1000 years, the rest of the dead will rise from the grave and judgement day will occur.
What about Lazarus.
...
Is he not a man, and if he is not, what is he? Did he not die, to be risen, and then presumably die again?
Christ performed a resurrection, but by definition Lazarus RE-INCARNATED or re entered the world of carnal sin.
To be born again is to what? Re incarnate.
Jesus spoke in parables. Things have double or even triple meanings.
What about Lazurus?
He did not emerge from the womb as a baby a second time in an entirely new body, so by definition, he was not reincarnated.
You didn't answer any of my questions for what reason exactly?
