I was being a bit facetious about all the folks self-diagnosing and taking horse paste needlessly. In the absence of legitimate ivermectin, horse pasts is fine, but when people self-diagnose symptoms (not so much a problem with ivermectin, admittedly), it could potentially be a problem.
How am I being emotional, now? All I did was post an opinion, and perhaps a couple facts, and now, ten posts later, I'm still being challenged for a simple opinion. What's wrong with providing a counterpoint? Everyone acts so offended...
Saying that this is meant for medical professionals, who, for the most part, were the ones pressuring patients to take the vaxx in the first place, is not recognizing the mind-set of people who will read this and perhaps act on its recommendations themselves.
In other words, the facts don't take your feelings about people who can't read a disclaimer into account and this is why that's bad.
Nothing wrong with empathy for others. However, your emotions are clouding your thinking.
An easier way to accomplish what appears to be your goal in posting paragraphs upon paragraphs and multiple replies?
"Don't ignore this disclaimer. Make sure to find and work with a good doctor if you're experiencing these issues, particularly if you had a pre-existing auto-immune disease." My guess is you would have got nothing but upvotes.
Also, keep in mind the majority of people here aren't even vaccinated unless they're lying about their status.
I still don't see your claim about me being emotional. In no manner have I expressed any personal "feelings," with the exception of some personal anecdotes to assist in describing a point. Being predictive is emotional? Whatever you say...
If I did as you suggest, there would be no need for a discussion board. Discussion helps bring points together such that folks can think issues through. Sounds like a form of censorship to me, if you limit discussion.
For starters, I never said you can't post if you're overly emotional, so let's stop with the cries about censorship. I simply gave advice on things you can consider to engage your audience more effectively and without as much pushback.
You capitalized how many words exactly and for what purpose?
Also note your first statement -
With respect to medical treatments, I am a cautious person by nature.
This is you admitting everything you write after that is coming from a position of fear, whether you're aware of that or not. And, to me, every word you capitalized emphasized the things you were most afraid of. Maybe my impression was wrong, but that's the impression I got from your statements.
I capitalize for emphasis, because I don't know how to italicize or bold things on this board. That's your evidence of me being emotional? C'mon...
Exercising caution is being fearful? No, it means I perhaps have reason to be suspicious of medical treatments from bad experiences I've had in the past. It means I'm using some wisdom instead of acting impulsively. I've had to do my own research to diagnose my own issues because I have had a long string of incompetent doctors, who either don't know what they're doing, force me through expensive tests, or just want to push me out the door with a prescription. I have gone years suffering, until I educated myself and became my own advocate. That's how it is for people with autoimmune conditions. They all report the same experiences as mine with doctors. I could write a book, believe me.
Have you ever heard the adage, when you point one finger, three are pointing back?

As far as you being unable to see how you're overly emotional, here's a direct link to one of your comments- https://greatawakening.win/p/15JAv8wOYD/x/c/4OcQZLsIGX8
