In Watchmen, Ozymandias says that he launched the missiles 35 minutes ago meaning he could monologue and there would be no effect on the outcome.

I feel like a bunch of these fuckers have already been executed long ago and we will find out about it after the EBS.

I believe the EBS will mark the nearing of the end everything rather than the beginning of the awakening.

I have no evidence other than seeing that some people don't look like themselves. It's a gut feeling. The script/movie needs to play out to the end.
