My little nephew went to orientation for pre-school today which is run through the county and informed me that they will have to wear masks. I said to my brother "are you kidding me?" He said "no." I am so angry but am unable to get through to my siblings. These babies are innocent and do not deserve this BS. They are not my kids and I would like to think I would do things differently. Regardless, I am at a loss and it absolutely breaks my heart. God help us all, especially the innocent children.

This is not just about compliance, it is about brain damage to these kids and delayed communication skills, not to mention increased risk for skin and respiratory infections. Kids need to see faces or they are developmentally stunted. Here is an article that comes with receipts/study references. The longer this goes on, the more evidence is coming in that this is all crap - and it is very damaging. The county is knuckling under because they are tied to their funding which is demanding this policy for Head Start. Not worth it. If your brother is not willing to look at the evidence, then I have to conclude that virtue signaling and being part of the narrative is more important than his child. Sorry - harsh but true.
As someone that has worn a surgical mask for years because of my profession, I now am suffering from the long term effects of chronic low O2 and chronic high levels of CO2.
