In the case of HPV, you don't even need to worry about it unless you're a degenerate who sleeps around with multiple partners who also sleep around with multiple partners.
Sure, you can get vaccinated if you don't mind the possibility of experiencing following adverse effects - chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, or anaphylactic shock and possible death.
And these are documented in the official literature, by the way.

As far as tetanus goes, you don't need long term immunity unless you're playing around in contaminated soil on a continuous basis. Even then, the issue is largely overblown.

In reality, the main reason tetanus cases have dropped by 99% since 1947 is because from 1950-1970, "the number of farm declined by half before leveling off. More farms were consolidated or sold during this period than in any other period in our history."
"The number of people on farms dropped from over 20 million in 1950 to less than 10 million in 1970."

The bacteria that causes tetanus is found in the soil. You're given a vaccine if you step on a rusty nail just in case it happens to be contaminated with Clostridium tetani. Hopefully you're not one of the unlucky people who develop Guillain-Barre Syndrome in response to your tetanus shot.
