Something I noticed after reading the hack article is that all the other hacks occurred after the 1977 Vrillon hack. The Vrillon hacker was never identified where as most the others were.

Could there be the possibility the other hacks were paid off to make the original one appear as just that, a hoax? It fits into the playbook the black hats are using today.
