Has anyone else seen more people being diagnosed?

Me. I thought that ALS was rare but my health care providers say they have quite a few ALS patients. I live in a small city in British Columbia 40,000 population and my neurologist is in a city of 100,000 one half hour away. He recently moved there to start up the second ALS clinic in this province, the other one being in Vancouver. Seems like quite an up tick in ALS diagnoses.
