I remember reading a report saying that the recent botulism chemical attack had affected both military and 🔥civilian🔥 targets.
What fucking "civilian" would be in a nuclear facility, at the frontline of war, on a territory occupied since March?
Professional nuclear technicians, thats who.
I beleive that Russia is working non-stop to denuclearize the plant by removing the radioactive feul. Without the feul, the place becomes just any other building.
That is, if they haven't completed it yet.
I think you are mistaken. Here's why:
(Side note: This is one of the flaws in the reactors we use today. Thorium reactors literally do not have this problem, but we ignored this tech 70'ish years ago because it doesn't produce bomb grade materials).
Securing a nuke plant that is left sitting is nigh impossible. Enough bombs and the systems that keep it shut down are destroyed, and then you have a radioactive disaster anyway.
Fully decommissioning a nuke plant - i.e. removing the nuclear fuel - takes YEARS. So, that's not gonna happen in any kind of meaningful way.
Shutting down a nuke plant will leave the citizens of Ukraine and possibly nearby countries at a serious power deficit. This would only exacerbate the humanitarian crisis... going into the fall/winter.
Russia was doing the right thing by trying to keep it running and keep it safe.
One has to wonder why Ukraine thinks it can target the plant and hope to come out ahead... well, we know why. Because they are evil, and probably also desperate.
What should Russia do?
Most of the world is aligned against them. The narrative will not support them even though the truth is on their side. These are difficult wartime choices. I hope they make good ones...
Not even close. Oh, the western media wants it's audience to believe that, but that simply is not the case. Only NATO nations, plus several other other countries are against Russia. Even NATO member Turkey is still on favorable terms with Russia.
China and India are not against Russia, and that's nearly 1/3 of the worlds population. Most, if not all of the African continent is not against Russia. Most of Asia is not against Russia. South America is mixed.
Now if you want to say that most of western MSM is against Russia, well that is certainly true.
make that 2/3.
I highly encourage you to read the following about Russian history and Putin's efforts to fight the deep state. Very good read. Puts all in perspective.

Also, realize that if the nuclear power plant is breached, it may contaminate the Crimea and the Russian navy. Passive nuclear bomb. Yes, the world know the petro dollar is slavery. The US stole the millions russia had in the exchange bank, so other nations are asking, could they do this with our money. SA is backing Russia.... they know their money is at risk.
This is a gigantic war of good vs. evil, and Russian military is leading the way, thank you. Military only way??? Bless them. Currently the Ukraine army is ready to crack (loosing about 600 troops a DAY, equipment being sold on black market and not going to front, etc. see link below), and they are running out of second class recruits, with harden troops backing up at a distance. Expect a second wave effort shortly (I have heard Sept. for some time) with additional support from UK and US (heard UK has notified military to get ready). Might even include UK army inside Ukraine, with effort to keep Russia fighting in winter. Things are going to heat up shortly and only god knows where it is going to go. Prayers are needed big time now. Pray that DT is truly in control of military.
I have also heard that Russia is actively debating in their parliament to use nuclear weapons. see following for updates:

Having worked at nuclear facilities, I can confirm that it takes a very long time and years to decommission. Remember also, the one in Ukraine is one of the largest in Europe. The plant is being attacked with long range HIMAR missiles, supplied by US, so all work is very dangerous. I have no doubt Russian is working the issue with all means available.... even UN, which refuses to send observers. Like I said, good vs. evil.
