But you know how it goes. If he signs an order to deport, a federal judge will block it. If he tries to add on to the wall, lawfare will prevail. This is the only way he can prove the point that the people who call us "racist" will react the exact same way we have.
I'm a Texan too. Abbott can spend a few bucks sending a few bus loads to New York. It doesn't bother me. Texas has one of the 20 largest economies in the world. We don't have state tax. What are they going to spend the money on anyway? Grants for developers to build more hotels in Austin? Rebuilding another highway for the 100th time? Another grant for our less than worthwhile schools? (not talking about A&M, God love 'em)
That response still confuses me. So when they get off the bus in NY they call their friends and let them know Texas is giving free bus rides? This helps...how? We think Democrat voters are going to dramatically shift their party's platform because they have illegals living next door or something? What exactly is the goal here?
All we actually get out of it is a few satisfying viral soundbites from the mayors of DC and NY, but the action doesn't achieve anything other than help speed and increase up the trafficking of illegal aliens.
When Biden did it with airplanes, we all complained. But when Abbott did it with buses we all cheer?
Sounds to me more like a RINO pulled a fast one on us and we bought the BS. I mean... now we are literally doing exactly what the DNC wanted, helping them get more illegal voters into the country.
So yes, I've seen tattooed fucking coyotes marching little girls across my dad's front yard in Del Rio, in the yard where my kids play, so I do feel pretty strongly about the damn issue. But I certainly think the state could probably spend it's money doing more effective things to stem the flow of people than giving them rides into the country.
