I’m not a Bible scholar but do enjoy taking the time to really learn as much as is available on the subject. I’ve done many at home studies on the Bible Canon but would like to add to my learning with the other “non-canon” books. Would love to hear which versions you found to be most accurate/beneficial and any scholars/experts materials be it podcast/YouTube/ or supplemental study books you like to use. For example I use many Chuck Missler studies when reading my Bible and I greatly enjoy his breakdowns of each verse and their contextual meanings.

Interesting thoughts! I've read that in Enoch as well. I think the current Bible is purely the story of Jesus and what it takes for us to gain our salvation from sin. That's by and far the most important biblical message EVER. But there's always been pieces of the biblical history that were missing from my perspective. Just things that felt like it needed another piece of the puzzle. Which doesn't detract from the overall message of salvation of course, it's just me and my inquisitive mind and my love for true world history that drives me towards these questions I want answered. I feel like God is definitely leading me somewhere but I'm just not sure where yet....
Man do I wish you lived in my neck of the woods! The coffee shop discussions would be delightful to say the least. I feel very similar in your convictions. I’m a researcher by heart and even when I was a small child I had a desire to find all the historical facts that supplement the Christian Faith, not that I lacked any At all, it just brings me great joy when I see people looking for Noah’s ark, or the oldest Hebrew texts or any other archeological finds that are exactly what the Bible said they were. I’ve loved eschatology and I’m always interested in understanding how the spiritual realm intersects humanity such as in the days of Noah
Dude we have to be kindred spirits cuz 100% yes! I am exactly the same way. Finding things that support biblical things is just so cool to me! I'm honestly hoping we get some huge historical truth bombs in the near future when the DS is finally finished. That's gonna be the most exciting part for me!
