I feel so strongly about this. The abuse the boys - not just mine all of the boys - took at our k-8 grammar school (kids are in their twenties now) was insane. Even the straight-laced straight-A walking little old lady across the street boys were persona non grata with these crazy women. They would get a male math or gym teacher and before the school year was out he'd be out the door. Usually for something like letting the kids play tag during gym instead of writing a Haiku about exercise. I have never seen any coordinated male hating like I did at that school. I'd call it toxic femininity but that would tarnish the word feminine. It was just pure evil.
