Out of those I know, an aunt in law got diagnosed with breast cancer 3 months after, an uncle in law got checked after for a heart issue and needed a quadruple bypass, and now has new heart issues.
I've had two people in the company I work for found dead at their desks (semi large company, different offices).
The one that upset me the most was my mom, who got the shot so she could hang out with her friends at McDonald's. She made it more than a year saying she had no intention, but that pushed her limits. Luckily, she's had no apparent ill effects.
Pray for your mom. My husband's sister had her diagnosis a year later.
