If he's talking about the judge considering the "special master" then she is not a Magistrate and was appointed by Donald Trump. I'm not sure what he's referring to something else though.

I’m referring to the Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart who granted the search warrant. He’s not even a real Federal Judge.
