China is having a ton of issues with their food supply. In one area, it's been flooding so much that crops are washing away. In the other, there's so much drought that the farmers haven't been able to plant for the last harvest of the year or the harvest that was planted in the spring is drying out on the vine.
The CCP claims to have a huge stockpile of food but there are nearly 1.5 billion people there. I guess they might be able to stockpile enough rice but what about the other staples? And how long would those stockpiles last?
My point being is that if there are food companies/farms etc in the US that are owned by the Chinese, would they be more likely to allow that food to go to the US market? Or would they ship it back home to feed their own people?
