God has a different opinion than the writer when it comes to sin, including the sin of homosexuality. Go get your Bibles and read I Cor 6:9-11. There is a list of sins that people practice that keeps them out of Heaven, and homosexuality is one of them.
Yes, but all these sins can be forgiven. Here is the passage. Focus on verse 11, where it says “..and such WERE some of you”, but they were redeemed and saved. Praise be to God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NKJV
[9] Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, [10] nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

The only sin that keeps you out of heaven is rejecting Christ.
That being said, homosexuality is regarded al throughout The Bible as an abomination, and it is objectively a sin.
There is a HUGE difference for asking forgiveness from a sin, and trying to justify a sin and refusing to repent or fix your ways.
