New ballots must be printed with a section for POTUS. Brand. New. Ballots. A month before the election. All those pre printed ballots would go to waste. No “we found ballots in the closet.” It would be impossible.

I'm not sure why they would necessarily hold it on the same date as the midterms though. Something like this is unprecedented and it's basically just coincidence we are near the midterms. If we're going to hold a new election for president it should be done right away, certainly not in a couple months
