Haven't we always said how high-intelligent people tend to lack common sense? Especially those who were coddled through life and taught to always trust "experts". I do wonder though how much of it is a genetic component by now after many generations of Them trying to turn people into cattle, like how some people just don't have the "sports gene" and show no interest in sportsball that so many obsess over.
