The blackmail you describe is everywhere, in everything. It's the same blackmail they use for politicians, Hollywood, media personalities, schools and universities, police forces, clergy, and on and on.

The People that make it to the highest positions of power are selected, precisely because they are blackmailed. This provides the blackmailed near total control of all organizations, public and private.

These "leaders" are showered with money, gifts, fame, and fortune. As long as they keep the Party line, they retain their power and riches. If they slip up, they wind up mysteriously dieing in accidents or unexpected events.

Politics is like baseball. Lowered level politicians are the farm team. Once someone is successfully blackmailed they shoot right up the ladder.

There is a reason that certain people rise so quickly in organizations. It's not shear smarts and willpower, it's a willingness to sell your soul for all the riches in this life, rather than keeping your soul for heaven in the after life.

This is at the heart of the battle between good and evil we see all over the world today.
