t's predatory lending. They are making bad loans on purpose in order to foreclose on the properties down the road. Countrywide did this on a regular basis prior to the 2008 crash, and BofA bought Countrywide -- and all their foreclosed upon homes -- after the crash. Bof A has come up with a clever PR scheme to hide the real intent behind these bad loans.
Is this a classic bait & switch ?
Not at all. BofA makes a loan on a property where the owners have nothing invested. The market tanks and the owners are now upside down on their mortgage, so the owners let the house get foreclosed upon. Then BofA owns the property. The WEF's plan is to acquire all affordable housing out from under first time homebuyers, forcing them to stay renters. When the collapse happens, they will raze the housing in rural areas and suburbs, thus forcing people into cities, where the people can be easily monitored by "smart city" systems. This is a shady way for the WEF to acquire more housing.
Countrywide bit the dust after that ? I think they did
BofA acquired Countrwide, which means BofA got the spoils of Countrwide's plunder. It was VERY profitable for them the first time around; am sure they are eager to do it again this time.
