Oh gosh - I have to save this and take time to read.

Funny thing is - I was raised in a very strict Southern Baptist family. I had solid bible classes and such, but my mother was an Eastern Star and my uncle was “something” in the Masonic lodge?

Anyway - I was encouraged to become a “Rainbow Girl”. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Order_of_the_Rainbow_for_Girls)

It didn’t “feel right” in my heart so I didn’t pursue it past the second year.
