I agree. My point was imply that this acting was too good, the principles of his speech were good (except that the reverse was true), and he was far more presidential than he should be (if thing are supposed to be at the turning point soon). Put it this way: if tonight's speech won him back some normies, or calmed them, or worse turned them against Trump... why would WH's do that?

Tonight should have been full of gaffes, and everything else we associate with FJB.
