Disney bought 21st Century FOX, which includes FX.

The Murdoch family kept FOX Sports and FOX News and the local TV stations (since Disney owns ABC, they couldn't purchase the stations) and Disney got all of the movies and television shows.

In other words, Bart Simpson and Al Bundy are now Disney assets.
